Down Home Ranch is one of Veronica's favorite non-profits and she is proud to serve as a Board Director for this powerful organization. Their mission is to empower the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through social, educational, residential and vocational opportunities. They do this providing a place to live and work, camps, programming, and lot of fun!

When it comes to empowering our youth, SHE believes it takes a village. That's why Veronica took on the role as the Vice President of Development for the Elgin Education Foundation Board of Directors. Their mission is simple - to provide the resources necessary for teachers to inspire and engage their students effectively. Helping to foster a vibrant learning environment that not only elevates their students’ educational experiences but also strengthens our community.

Every year, the Austin Business Journal puts together a speed mentoring session for the ladies looking for guidance. Whether SHE is just getting started, or SHE is stuck in a rut, this event brings hundreds of women together to share their insights. The past two years, Veronica has had the pleasure of serving as a mentor, where she has learned as much as she has taught.

When it comes to empowering our youth, SHE believes it takes a village. That's why we are doing our part by teaming up with the school district to provide events designed just for our students. Whether it's the "SHE Styles Prom" dress drive for senior girls, "SHE Dresses for Success" professional wardrobe swap for senior girls, or the Madam SHE Youth Program aimed at 4th-7th grade girls, Veronica wants to give back to where it all started for her.

As a past President of the Elgin Chamber of Commerce, Veronica wholeheartedly believes in the power of a chamber. That is why SHE: Women in Business is on the mission to join multiple chambers to grow our network and share our services with the communities around us.
