Following her divorce in 2021, Veronica found herself unemployed after leaving the company that she and her ex-husband co-owned. Always career driven, newly single, and unsure what was to come, she fell into a bad headspace that was difficult to shake. In the midst of this challenging period, she realized she was falling short in her roles as a mother, friend, sister, and daughter. Acknowledging the negative trajectory she was on, she made a promise to her son to "figure this shit out." That journey left her with a deep desire to connect with resilient women – individuals who embody authenticity and vulnerability, women who navigate both challenges and triumphs. She had a vision to create a community where women could openly discuss their insecurities and fears while equally supporting and encouraging personal and professional growth.
Veronica presently holds the position of President at the Elgin Chamber of Commerce. Leveraging this role, she initiated SHE with the backing of her board. In 2024 the Elgin Chamber board voted unanimously to release the rights of SHE to Veronica as her own endeavor to pursue on a more focused level in 2025.
Demonstrating her commitment to engaging with women, Veronica serves on the BizWomen Leadership Council at the Austin Business Journal and a featured speaker at the 2024 Un-Breakable Conference series. Additionally, she is an active participant in the Boss Babes Networking group in Cedar Park, TX, holds membership in Texas Women in Business, and acts as a mentor at ABJ.
Making a meaningful impact on the lives of other women serves as a pivotal motivation for Veronica. Utilizing her adept public speaking skills, she captivates audiences with her compelling storytelling prowess. Skillfully blending real-life challenges with the humor of life's intricacies, (and maybe a cuss word or two) her speeches evoke both laughter and tears, creating an engaging and relatable experience.

" I have been to multiple SHE events. You can always guarantee there will be some great speakers. But my favorite will always be Veronica. I know that it’s going to be real. It’s going to come from the heart, give me some feels and things to reflect on. It may not be what I want to hear at the moment, maybe it’s something I put back for later, but it’s always enjoyed. I look forward to Veronica as I know I am in for entertainment!"
